The CW's quartet of superhero shows have brought dozens of DC Comics characters to life, outfitting them in comic accurate (and some not-so comic accurate) duds along the way. The super suit worn by Barry Allen is among the most iconic and accurate, when it comes to adapting the supersuit worn by one of the longest-running superheroes in comic history. And, as actor Grant Gustin tweeted, he might be ready for a new look.

Gustin shared his thoughts on the Flash's look on Twitter, possibly teasing that a change-up is in the future.

I feel like Barry is passed due for a new suit.— Grant Gustin (@grantgust) December 12, 2016

If the Flash gets a new look, it wouldn't be the first time in the show's three seasons. The Flash suit underwent a subtle change in-between seasons one and two, when Cisco added a white background to the Flash's symbol on the speedster's chest. But since then, the Flash has sported the same look -- way longer than his previous uniform. Barry Allen may be due for an upgrade.

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
