Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto franchise will be turning 25 years old in 2022 and the most recent title in this hugely successful series was first released over eight years ago. Gamers have been waiting patiently for more information on the next game, including a release date, possible location(s), and an official game title which fans believe will be GTA 6. In the meantime, we can only speculate as to what the next installment will include, where it will be set, and which familiar businesses we can expect to see.

From Vice City to Los Santos, there have been numerous fictional businesses created for the game series using clever wordplay. Rockstar has also done well at imitating businesses in the real world, with humorous adaptations of well-known logos and brand names.

10 Cluckin' Bell Has Been Serving Chicken For Years

This fictional fast food joint was first featured in GTA: San Andreas and was later included in GTA IV and GTA V. It specializes in chicken-based meals, including salads, burgers, and buckets. "Drive-Thru," one of the early missions in GTA: San Andreas, involves driving CJ and his homies to Cluckin' Bell to get some food before getting caught up in a drive-by shootout.

The restaurant's mascot is Cluck Norris and can be seen on various Cluckin' Bell advertisements. Although players are unable to enter the establishment in the latest GTA game, fans are hoping to see this business make a comeback in Rockstar's next game in the series.

9 Gruppe Sechs Protects The Virtual Population & Their Money

The not-so-subtly named Gruppe Sechs is a security company that has been a part of the franchise since Grand Theft Auto III and has been included in every major release since. One of the logos for the company looks like the number 6, also resembling a traditional padlock with a keyhole in the center.

In Rockstar's latest GTA game, the Gruppe Sechs logo can be seen on the side of armored vehicles and on the uniforms of the many security guards located around Los Santos. This business has long been integrated into the series and is likely to be featured in the next release.

8 Ammu-Nation Is The Main Source For Weaponry

Everyone's favorite virtual gun store has been supplying ammunition to gamers for a long time. Ammu-Nation is an essential store in most of the GTA campaigns and in GTA Online. Players can stock up on knives, guns, and explosives to prepare for missions or heists. Body armor is also available for purchase as well as weapon attachments and add-ons which were introduced in the latest release.

In-game stores came about in GTAIII and indoor shooting ranges first appeared in GTA: Vice City. As the biggest weapons store featured in the franchise, Ammu-Nation is likely to be selling rounds and rockets to gamers for years to come.

7 Kronos Helps Players Keep Track Of The Time

Kronos is one of the few watch companies to be incorporated into the GTA universe. The brand can be seen on clocks, billboards, and various advertisements throughout the 3D games' universe. Kronos even has its own store in GTA: Vice City Stories, and on Elgin Avenue which runs through the center of Los Santos in GTA V and GTA Online. 

Kronos has been apparent since GTA: San Andreas and now has a more prominent presence in more recent games. The brand and watch designs are similar to that of real-world companies, Swatch and Casio. Advertisements for one of their watches, The Gigante, can be seen in the HD universe featuring the caption, "The end of time." Kronos watches can be purchased from The Diamond Casino & Resort store in GTA Online.

6 Sprunk Quenches Thirst & Replenishes Health

In the world of GTA, Sprunk is a lemon-lime flavored carbonated soft drink. Vending machines that stock the beverage can be found in every main game from the franchise since GTA: San Andreas. Players can purchase a Sprunk from vending machines for $1 which will also replenish some of their health. Their competitors include other in-game sodas, eCola and Orang-O-Tang.

The company has maintained a strong brand presence throughout the series. Sprunk advertising is littered throughout GTA maps on billboards, cars, and even radio commercials. The brand is clearly a parody of real-world drinks, Sprite and 7Up. Sprunk was also featured in another Rockstar game, Manhunt 2, which was released in 2007.

5 Bravado Makes Sure You Reach Your Destination In Style

Car manufacturer Bravado is responsible for several car models in the Grand Theft Auto series. In recent games, Bravado's logos can be seen on car bonnets, bumpers, and in-game TV commercials. Bravado has made civilian car models such as the Banshee, Bison, and Franklin's personal vehicle, the Buffalo S in GTA V.

Some of their cars are Rockstar's rendition of real-world models manufactured by Dodge. The Bravado logo also looks very similar to the Dodge logo. As well as civilian cars, Bravado also makes law enforcement vehicles such as the police cruiser, FIB sports sedan, and military half-track, which was included in the Gunrunning update in GTA Online. 

4 Bank Of Liberty Maintains Players' Funds

Bank of Liberty is one of the main banking chains in the GTA series and can be seen throughout various games. The bank was first seen in GTA III on ATMs that dotted around the map. Its main branch can be found in Liberty City on Columbus Avenue in GTA IV's Chinatown.

In GTA V, the banking chains are Lombank and Schlongberg Sachs. Their ATMs share the same interface and feature the Bank Of Liberty logo on-screen when players go to check their balance. This business is Rockstar's rendition of Bank Of America. The  Bank Of Liberty's logo is also similar to the Eurasian Bank symbol. Players can also buy Bank Of Liberty stock in GTA V on the Liberty City Stock Exchange.

3 Maibatsu Has The Right Vehicle For The Job

Another renowned car company in the franchise is Maibatsu. As you may have guessed, this fictional car manufacturer is influenced by Mitsubishi. The brand has been around since GTA III and is responsible for some of the most popular vehicles in the HD universe.

A famous dirt bike in GTA is the Sanchez which is manufactured by Maibatsu. The car company also makes the Mule, a slow and heavy truck used for transporting goods. They also boast some Mitsubishi sports car knock-offs as well as the transport helicopter, the Frogger. Players can also purchase Maibatsu stock from BAWSAQ stock exchange in GTA V.

2 Binco Makes You Feel Like A King With Low-End Clothing

A popular clothing company in the GTA series in Binco. Retail stores first appeared in GTA: San Andreas and they have been featured in every title since. The business specializes in cheap clothes and accessories with bright colors and sporty designs. Although no accessible stores are featured in GTA IV's Liberty Cityadverts for Binco are still present.

Binco's main competitor is Suburban, another reasonably priced clothing company with a more stylish brand image. Fans believe Suburban is a take on Urban Outfitters due to the trendy clothes on offer and the aesthetics of the store.

1 Fruit Computers Manufacture Must-Have Gadgets

The HD universe gave GTA enthusiasts better graphics, more vehicles, and Fruit Computers. The fictional company manufactures desktop computers, software, and mobile phones. The Diamond Casino Heist update in GTA V and GTA Online also included iFruit Radio— a GTA radio station that specializes in UK rap and afro-fusion music provided by Fruit Computers.

In the GTA V campaign, Michael's cell phone is an iFruit device and its appearance closely resembles an iPhone. The interface on Fruit Computers' desktops and laptops looks similar to a macOS and their logo appearance is heavily influenced by the tech giant. Understandably, this has led people to believe that Fruit Computers is based around Apple.
