Producer David S. Goyer and screenwriter Justin Marks are reteaming for the Warner Bros. adaptation of Vertigo's "FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics," Deadline reports.

Created by Simon Oliver and Robbi Rodriguez, the series is set in a world where disturbances in the laws of physics -- wormholes appearing in kitchens, quantum tornadoes in the Midwest, gravity failures at a high school -- are as common as weather, and it's up to the Federal Bureau of Physics to deal with them.

Goyer, the studio's go-to guy on DC Comics projects ranging from "Man of Steel" to "Constantine" to "The Sandman," previously partnered with Marks on the long-discussed Green Arrow-in-prison project "Supermax." Marks, who's been busy with Disney's "The Jungle Book" and "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo," also worked on Warner Bros.' shelved adaptation of "Suicide Squad."
