Fans are undoubtedly excited by news that not only will a version of Harley Quinn appear on "Gotham," but that she may already have been seen on the Fox drama -- but perhaps none more so than new Poison Ivy actress Maggie Geha.
"I would love, love, love, love to see Harley Quinn," she told IGN during the Television Critics Association's summer press tour. "In the comics she and Ivy and Harley Quinn are very close. In fact, I'm pretty sure in the comics they just formally announced that they're girlfriends. Just as an actor I would love it for them to bring Harley Quinn onto the show. I would love that. I hope they do one day. That would be great. It would be so much fun for me."
The 28-year-old Geha replaces child actress Clare Foley as Ivy, who in Season 3 is reborn as a young woman following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill.
Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn of course have a long history as partners in crime, in "Batman: The Animated Series," comic books and the "Batman: Arkham" video game series.
"Gotham" returns Sept. 19 on Fox.
