"Gotham's" Cameron Monaghan Drops Biggest Joker Tease Yet

In a black-and-white photo on his Instagram, Cameron Monaghan looks eerily like the Joker with a pale face and a wide, creepy smile, teasing that he will play the Joker in the upcoming second season of "Gotham."

For the moment, Monaghan is officially listed as a new villain named Jerome. However, the Joker has long been teased for the show and even got namedropped in the second season official description. Likewise, showrunner executive producer Bruno Heller has described the second season as "the very earliest origins of how the Joker came to be," so it wouldn't be surprising if "Jerome" is a cover for this iconic character. This latest tease seems to confirm rumors that Monaghan will indeed play the Joker.
