Considering "Gotham's" Season Three subtitle, "Mad City," it was only a matter of time before classic Batman foe the Mad Hatter arrived.

Fox has released the synopsis for the season's third episode, "Look Into My Eyes," which marks the debut of "The Walking Dead" alum Benedict Samuel as Jervis Tetch:

Hypnotist Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel) arrives in Gotham to search for his sister, Alice, and hires Gordon to help find her. Meanwhile, Penguin decides to run for mayor and Bruce’s doppelganger begins to channel him, causing some confusion around town in the all-new “Mad City: Look Into My Eyes” episode of "Gotham."

The episode, which airs Monday, Oct. 3, also features guest stars Jamie Chung as Valerie Vale, Naian Gonzalez Norvind as Alice Tetch, Richard Kind as Aubrey James, James Carpinello as Mario Calvi and John Doman as Carmine Falcone.
