Gotham has revealed Selina Kyle's new costume ahead of the debut of Thursday's episode, "A Day in the Narrows," as she embraces her identity as Catwoman.
The costume may seem simplistic, but putting on a mask is more symbolic of her transformation into a costumed criminal. In the Season 3 finale, Tabitha Galavan took Selina (played by Camren Bicondova) under her wing to train her in the use of a whip. Tabitha already shares some aesthetics with Catwoman, so her influence is likely key to Selina's future.

Season 4 seems to be where many of Gotham's pieces begin to fit into place. Bruce Wayne has begun his career as a costume crimefighter, even if he hasn't assumed the identity of Batman just yet. Jonathan Crane is embracing his role as the Scarecrow, Butch Gilzean/Cyrus Gold has been transformed into Solomon Grundy, and Ivy Pepper has been recast once again as the character grows into her role as Poison Ivy.
Airing Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox, Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Cameron Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.
