In a 3-minute super trailer for "The Beginning...", the series finale, Bruce Wayne returns home after a 10-year absence -- and on the eve of Penguin's release from prison. Soon, Oswald Cobblepot and Edward Nigma are back to their old tricks, while Selina Kyle ups her game as the stealthy burglar Catwoman.

In addition to showing these villains in action, the trailer teases Gordon's first meeting with the Dark Knight himself. It also suggests Joker has been cognisant enough to lie in wait for Bruce's return before he resurfaced. Another quick glimpse shows Barbara with her daughter -- the future Batgirl -- in tow. At the center of it all, though, is "the man dressed as a bat" who lurks in the shadows, ready to dispense justice when he is needed.
