The upcoming fifth and final season of Gotham looks to completely flip the script on a young Bruce Wayne when the city is isolated by a terrorist attack, rendering it a no man's land ruled by villains. But what happens when the city is cut off from the rest of the world, ruled as a lawless wasteland by the some of the worst criminals in Batman's rogues' gallery? A pair of teaser clips hint at the coming devastation.

The clips act as something of a calendar of terror, marking the fall of Gotham on both the first and 22nd day of the city's main bridges being bombed. The first clip sees characters like Bruce Wayne and the Penguin watching the bridges collapse. The teaser's narration promises that as Gotham falls, the city's darkest elements will rise to the top.

That promise has seemingly come true in the teaser that charts 22 days of isolation for Gotham, depicting the city as a gray, broken shell of its former self. The narration for this video notes that things are grim in the city, as food, supplies and ammunition are dwindling. The survivors are seemingly tooling up to do something about it, though, if the teaser is to be believed.
