With less than a month until the premiere of the fifth and final season, Fox has released a new banner poster promoting the return of Gotham.

With the ominous tagline "The Dark Knight Is Coming," the poster showcases the main cast on a bombed-out bridge, alongside new villain Bane (Shane West), picking up after the events of the Season 4 finale.

The final season carries the subtitle, "Legend of the Dark Knight," confirming that David Mazouz's Bruce Wayne will complete his evolution into the iconic DC superhero.

The upcoming season loosely adapts the "No Man's Land" comic book storyline, after Jeremiah (Cameron Monaghan) blew up Gotham's bridges, effectively cutting off the city from the rest of the country, permitting criminals to take over.
