Gotham Goes to War in No Man's Land Finale Trailer

Gotham is going to war. In a new trailer for "They Did What?", the penultimate episode of the series, Jim Gordon enlists help from his allies and enemies alike to face down Bane and his invading forces.

The three-minute trailer reflects on the events that led the series to "No Man's Land," before the U.S. government orders the beleaguered city to be destroyed. Bane quickly takes control of the soldiers, triggering an invasion that leaves Gordon and the GCPD grossly outnumbered.

The video also previews the reasoning behind Penguin and Riddler joining the fight for Gotham's survival, even as Gordon and Barbara attempt to overthrow Nyssa al Ghul. Finally, as Bane aims to execute Gordon and his supporters, Gordon calls the city to arms in one last desperate attempt to save everything from utter destruction.

According to the episode synopsis,

As Bane (guest star Shane West) enacts his final plan for Gotham’s destruction, Gordon rallies his former enemies to save the city. Meanwhile, Nyssa al Ghul (guest star Jaime Murray) kidnaps Barbara’s newborn daughter, with ambitions to raise her as her own. Then, Bruce’s decision to leave Gotham points him to his destiny, while devastating Selina in the all-new “They Did What?” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, April 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Returning Thursday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox, Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth and Shane West as Bane.
