Gotham Knight's latest character trailer shines a Bat-Signal on Tim Drake as he zips around the crime-ridden city.

The brief trailer spotlights Robin's unique skillset, placing emphasis on his staff and gadgets which he uses to continually disrupt and eliminate his enemies. A few highlights include some brutal takedowns, a wrist-mounted catapult that launches stunning fireworks and a teleportation beacon that allows him to instantly appear on top of his target. In a similar vein, the video also explains how Tim is able to move around the sprawling Gotham City, using a Justice League satellite to clear greater distances and get the drop on unsuspecting thugs.

While Gotham Knight's latest trailer focuses on Robin, he's not the only member of the Bat Family to make an appearance. Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood all show up in the closing moments to help Tim Drake dispatch a series of especially unlucky foes with some flashy team-up combos.

As Robin notes in the video, Gotham Knights is set after the death of Bruce Wayne aka Batman, who tasks his collection of protégés with keeping his territory safe in his stead. As criminals begin to rise and reclaim what was taken from them, Tim Drake, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon and Jason Todd will need to put their differences aside and continue the legacy of the mentor.

Previous trailers confirmed that the team will be going up against major DC villains such as The Penguin, Mister Freeze and even The Court of Owls, who will serve as the game's main antagonists. While working to dismantle the group, which has quietly run Gotham City for hundreds of years, players will need to contend with their Talons, a collection of brainwashed assassins dispatched to eliminate potential threats.

"Part of it is that we wanted our own thing, and there's a lot of mystery in Batman games," said executive producer Fleur Marty, when asked why the Court of Owls were chosen for Gotham Knights. "They haven't been explored in a game, so it made sense to take inspiration from [the comics]." WB Games Montréal previously teased that it was furthering the lore surrounding the sinister organization created by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo in 2011's Batman Vol. 2 #1.

Gotham Knights releases on Oct. 25 and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
