Gotham Knights Show Kills off Batman

The series centers around a new batman son, Oscar Morgan's Turner Hayes, as evidence points to him as Bruce Wayne's murderer. The series follows Hayes and the children of Batman's foes as they investigate the Caped Crusader's death while Collins' Harvey Dent and the Gotham City Police Department pin the blame for Bruce Wayne's death on them. Other cast members include Olivia Rose Keegan as Joker's Daughter -- also Harvey Dent's daughter in some comics, Navia Ziraili Robinson as Carrie Kelley, Anna Lore will play Spoiler, the daughter of Cluemaster and Tyler DiChiara and Fallon Smythe as twins Cullen and Harper Row.

The first trailer for Gotham Knights got slammed by DC fans, who claimed the show looked like it had a limited budget and represented a low point for the Batman franchise. Despite critiques from fans, many expressed excitement over the casting of Collins as Harvey Dent. Much of the press surrounding the series revolves around Collins' role, with the popular Supernatural star taking on a fan-favorite villain from the comics. Although starting out as a heroic figure as DA Harvey Dent, the character eventually becomes the villain Two-Face.

While discussing the upcoming series, Collins described Gotham Knights' take on Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent's relationship. "I'm playing Harvey Dent who is the D.A. of Gotham and I also happen to have been friends with Bruce Wayne," he said. "I knew this young man [indicates co-star Oscar Morgan] very well growing up, right? Turner Hayes was almost like an adopted nephew to me, so when the evidence piles up against him, I don't want it to be true. But it does pile up quite compellingly."
