Gotham Knights star Misha Collins shared a couple of obtuse images from his first day on The CW show's set.

Collins posted the photos to his personal Twitter account, teasing fans about what they can expect from his role as Harvey Dent aka Two-Face. The first image appears to be a bunch of crumpled-up plastic, with Collins writing, "This is me on the first day of #GothamKnights as Harvey Dent! (I tried to pick a camera angle that wasn't too spoilery.)." This was later followed by another cryptic photo of the actor's knee as Collins joked that he was sharing the update despite being told that he wasn't allowed to post any spoilers from his first day on set.

While the contents of Gotham Knights' pilot episode are currently unknown, Collins previously confirmed that when he first appears on the show it will be as Harvey Dent. "If [the Gotham Knights pilot] gets picked up and turned into a series, which would be really cool, my character will be Harvey Dent for the whole first year," Collins explained. "So I have a nice long stretch of not being two-faced. And then I become Two-Face! Yeah, I'm looking forward to it and I'll be the old person on the show!"

Little is known about how Harvey Dent will factor into Gotham Knights' narrative but fans suspect that the first season will at least partly chronicle the villain's origin story. Collins previously teased fans that his portrayal of Dent would need to wear a beige trenchcoat to accommodate the actor, a reference to his iconic role as Castiel in Supernatural.

While the minutia of Gotham Knights' plot remains unknown, The CW confirmed that the show set is set after the death of Batman. The series will follow Bruce Wayne's "rebellious adopted son" who forges an unlikely alliance with the children of some of the Caped Crusader's most iconic villains after they're framed for murdering Batman.

Beyond Collins, the series has already cast several of its core characters. Navia Robinson is stepping into the role of Carrie Kelly, the first female Robin who debuted in Frank Miller's seminal The Dark Knight Returns while Olivia Rose Keegan is set to play Duela Dent aka The Joker's Daughter. The show also recently found its Stephanie Brown aka Spoiler in Anna Lore who also starred in the Doom Patrol series.

Gotham Knights does not yet have a release date.
