Gotham Knights developer WB Games Montréal responds to complaints that Nightwing's posterior isn't shapely enough.

Writing during a Q&A session on the game's official Discord server, as spotted by PCGamesN, director Geoff Ellenor confirmed that the creative team is satisfied with the general shape of Dick Grayson's butt. "We are currently comfortable with the size of Nightwing’s posterior," writes Ellenor. Despite this, the director also insisted that there's still an opportunity to give some fans what they're after. "I can’t promise that we won’t revisit this issue again someday," Ellenor concluded.

Nightwing is widely regarded as having the best butt in the DC universe, with many fans insisting that Gotham Knights make an effort to utilize the character's coveted title. Despite the excitement around Dick Grayson's asset, the character's rear end has yet to be emphasized in any of the game's trailers. Based on the fleeting shots of the Nightwing's butt, some fans have expressed disappointment that it isn't bigger.

While Nightwing's behind is a humorous topic within the comic book community, Gotham Knights is set to explore some of the darker aspects of crimefighting. Set after the death of Batman, the Caped Crusader tasks his allies with keeping his city safe in his stead. Players will be able to step into the role of Nightwing, Barbara Gordon's Batgirl, Red Hood and Tim Drake's Robin as the family of vigilante patrols and dispenses justice.

Each character sports a unique move set and skill tree, allowing players to focus on moves and abilities that better align with their preferred gameplay style. Similarly, each member of the Bat-Family has a unique form of transportation around Gotham City. While Nightwing glides over the rooftops with the help of his personal glider, Red Hood springs through the air thanks to a physical manifestation of his own soul energy. The Bat-cycle is also available to every character, meaning that streets can be traversed with ease.

While WB Games Montréal has only revealed a handful of the villains fans can expect to find in Gotham Knights, comic book enthusiasts can look forward to going up against the mysterious Court of Owls. Players will need to investigate the shadowy organization while also dealing with its small army of brainwashed assassins known as Talons.

Gotham Knights launches on Oct. 25 and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
