Gamers who pre-order Gotham Knights will unlock a special Batcycle skin that references the vehicle's first comic book appearance.

Developer Warner Bros. Games Montréal revealed the 233 Kustom Batcycle skin serves as a direct nod to the specialized motorbike's debut in Detective Comics #233. While the name will undoubtedly be appreciated by long-time Batman fans, the actual design of the bike is very different. Gotham Knight's version is all-black with large wheels attached to massive mechanical stabilizers on either side. The Batcycle's original comic book design boasted a red paint job and featured bat-wing accents with a single headlight in the middle of the handlebars.

While the 233 Kustom Batcycle is included with the pre-order of every version of Gotham Knights, other bonuses are locked to specific versions of the product. While the Standard Edition simply comes with a copy of the game, the Deluxe Edition includes the base game alongside the Visionary Pack DLC which adds exclusive in-game gear, cosmetics and suits based on the Batman Beyond animated series. Finally, die-hard fans can purchase the Collector's Edition, retailing for a pricey $299 USD, which includes everything in the previous two tiers as well as an augmented reality collectible pin, 16-page media bool, an exclusive Gotham City map and a four-character statue diorama.

Ahead of the reveal of the 233 Kustom Batcycle skin, Warner Bros. Games Montréal debuted a new trailer for the highly-anticipated superhero game. The video focuses on Nightwing and Red Hood as the duo dispenses justice to a variety of criminals around Gotham City. The snippets of gameplay showcased Gotham Knights' combat system which grants gamers four different playstyles based on their selected character. Nightwing, Red Hood, Barbara Gordon's Batgirl and Tim Drake's Robin all sport unique abilities that can be mixed and matched in battle to efficiently eliminate enemies.
