Gotham Finale Set Photos Tease An Older Jim Gordon

Gotham Season 5

Set photos from the series finale of Gotham point to star Ben McKenzie playing an older Jim Gordon.

Fox's Batman prequel, which will end with its upcoming fifth season, filmed parts of the finale this week in Staten Island, New York. Behind-the-scenes photos published by SILive reveal McKenzie with unmistakably graying hair.

The photos suggest the season will include a significant time jump, beyond the gap between the Season 4 finale and the Season 5 premiere. Subtitled "Legend of the Dark Knight," the new season picks up a year after the conclusion of "No Man's Land," with Gotham cut off from the rest of the nation, and the city in the hands of Cameron Monaghan's Jeremiah Valeska and other criminals. As the title suggests, the final run of episodes will also follow David Mazouz's young Bruce Wayne as he finally embraces the identity of Batman.
