As if the Penguin, the Riddler and now Ra's al Ghul weren't enough to deal with, Gotham citizens will soon have to contend with the Scarecrow.

The DC Entertainment YouTube channel dropped a video today featuring many of Gotham's ensemble cast discussing what fans can expect in the show's season three finale. David Mazouz and Camren Bincondova explain what Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle will be encountering before the season's end, but, as expected, it didn't take long for talk to switch gears to what awaits next year:

At the 1: 24 mark, Jim Gordon actor Ben McKenzie was asked what villains he would like to see when the show returns for its fourth season.

"There are some villains that I'm a fan of that are in season four," McKenzie said. "I've always been keen on the Scarecrow. It would be nice if the Scarecrow showed up."

In DC Comics canon, the Scarecrow is the alter ego of Jonathan Crane, a former professor of psychology who turns to a life of supervillainy by preying on the fears and phobias of others using his infamous fear toxins. The character's introduction would continue Gotham's recent trend of high profile pulls from Batman's signature rogues gallery. Tonight's finale will introduce not only Ra's al Ghul, but reportedly Harley Quinn.
