When Gotham resumes with all new episodes next week, the Fox series will begin its final run with three episodes that will bring the Batman origin series to a close.

Over the course of Season 5, Gotham City has been cut off from the mainland, its citizens left fighting for scraps, as criminals seize control of territories and resources. Bruce Wayne has been fighting in the shadows to help the GCPD try to keep the peace, all while dealing with the rise of a colorful Clown Prince of Crime. While he's not there yet, every episode brings the character ever closer to the mantle of the Batman.

We do know that, before the series ends, we will see Bruce Wayne suit up as the Caped Crusader. Now, with the series' conclusion weeks away, an image of Gotham's Batman suit may have leaked on Reddit.

According to the original poster, a "filter was applied to the screenshot to brighten it, so that we can see the details more."

Of course, there is no way to tell if this leaked image is the real deal at the time of writing. That being said, images of Cameron Monaghan's Joker in his final form were also leaked on Reddit weeks ago -- images that, given the developments in Gotham's "Ace Chemicals" episode, turned out to be real. Therefore, it's possible that the image of the Bat-suit could also be real.

The series' producers already confirmed that Bruce Wayne actor David Mazouz will not wear the full suit. While the young actor's face will appear under the cowl, an actor standing at 6 feet 4 inches-tall actor will wear the actual suit, thanks to an editing process that combines the two together. This could explain why the leaked picture doesn't appear to feature Mazouz in the suit.

The final episode of Gotham is set to take place a decade into the future, where a fully-formed Batman will take on the likes of the Penguin, the Riddler and the Joker.

Airing Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox, Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.
