Since its debut in 2014, Gotham has been host to the origins of many of Batman's enemies, but the most prominent in undeniably the story of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), the man who will become one of Batman's greatest enemies, the Penguin.
From his beginnings as an underling to Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith) to one of the most vicious criminal masterminds in Gotham City, Cobblepot's story has enticed viewers as they see how became the villain many DC fans know and love. And a recent post on Taylor's Instagram account hints that we may see the next stage in Cobblepot's evolution.
The post showcases what appears to be a banner, featuring an image of Cobblepot surrounded by beams of purple and white light, with Taylor giving the ominous comment, "Big things in store for our little bird". This could indicate Cobblepot's further domination and control of Gotham City overall. But for now, all we know is that "big things" are coming for the character, and possibly Gotham City itself.
