Gotham star David Mazouz may be focused on Bruce Wayne's path to becoming Batman in the fourth season of the Fox drama, but apparently also has an eye on playing the Dark Knight's son.
With Warner Bros. looking to expand its fledgling DC Extended Universe with director Matt Reeves' The Batman and Chris Miller's planned Nightwing film, to say nothing of a new banner for standalone projects, there are plenty of opportunities to introduce more members of the Batman Family on the big screen. That includes the current Robin, Damian Wayne.

On Tuesday the 16-year-old Mazouz shared fan art imagining him as Damian, and signaled his apparent interest in the role, writing, "I mean if DCEU is casting... #davidfordamian RT if you promote." It's already been retweeted more than 1,400 times.
The son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul, Damian debuted as an unnamed baby in the 1987 graphic novel Batman: Son of the Demon, before being introduced into DC Universe canon in 2006 in Batman #655. Trained by the League of Assassins, Damian is an expert martial artist, and skilled criminologist, strategist and engineer, with an ego to match.
Returning Thursday, Sept. 21, on Fox, Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Cameron Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.
