It was announced last year that a new live-action TV series adaptation of R.L. Stine's Goosebumps was in development from Scholastic Entertainment and Neal H. Moritz, the producer of the live-action Goosebumps movies. While not much has been heard regarding the series, Stine recently provided some news about it for the fans.On Twitter, Stine was asked if there were any updates for the series. "We have a producer and a director signed for the new GB TV series," Stine replied. "More news to come soon..." Launched in July 1992, Goosebumps is one of the most popular media franchises in the world. The original live-action TV series based on the books ran from 1995 to 1998, for a total of 74 episodes spanning across four seasons, and is currently available on Netflix. The books were also adapted into the aforesaid films which saw Stine played by Jack Black, with the first one being released in 2015 and the sequel, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, released in 2018.

Developed by Scholastic Entertainment, Neal H. Moritz and Sony Pictures Television, the new live-action Goosebumps TV series currently has no announced cast or release date.
