Google recently added Grogu -- aka Baby Yoda from Star Wars: The Mandalorian -- to its roster of augmented reality search results. All fans of the popular Disney+ series need to do is search "Grogu," "The Child," "The Mandalorian," or "Baby Yoda" in the Google app and select the "View in 3D" option to see the force-sensitive being appear in their space, as instructed by the series' Twitter post below.RELATED: Did The Mandalorian Season 2 Finale Cameo Just DOOM Baby Yoda?

Unfortunately, interactions with Baby Yoda are currently limited to zooming in and out. Grogu is the latest addition to Google's AR search results, following an update earlier this month that added 50 new augmented reality animals to its software design, including hippos, zebras and giraffes, among other creatures.

The technology company previously partnered with Lucasfilm for The Mandalorian AR Experience app, which was built for use on 5G Pixel phones and other select 5G Android handsets. That app, which also works on some 4G phones, allows the user to operate as a bounty hunter and follow the trail of Mando and the Child from The Mandalorian. As part of the fun, users can interact with characters and learn more about the first season of the Disney+ series from the comfort of your home. Prior to that, Google also offered Mandalorian-themed AR stickers on the Pixel 2 as part of its now-discontinued Playground feature.

Grogu's addition to Google's AR search results came on the same day The Mandalorian's Season 2 finale started streaming on Disney+. The episode, "Chapter 16: The Rescue," saw Grogu making a new friend in droid R2d2 and featured an emotional goodbye between the alien and his longtime companion/adopted father figure, bounty hunter Din Djarin.

In other Baby Yoda-related news, Mountain Ape Toys and Collectibles recently opened a preorder window for its Hellraiser-themed Grogu statue. The four-inch-tall figure depicts Grogu dressed as Pinhead from Clive Barker's 1987 horror film. The figure also holds the legendary lament configuration puzzle box featured in the film. The one-of-a-kind figure can be yours for £45 ($59 USD), with a delivery wait time of 16-18 weeks.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Disney+. A Season 3 was recently confirmed to be in the works and is set to premiere in December 2021.
