The latest trailer for Amazon's adaptation of the beloved novel Good Omens reveals a desperate mission to save the world from apocalyptic fury.

The trailer shows Michael Sheen's angel Aziraphale and David Tennant's demon Crowley strike up an unlikely friendship spanning millennia. After the two misplace the Antichrist, they realize they can avert the apocalypse to save the world they've grown so fond of.

As scenes from the impending end of times are shown, the trailer also reveals the Four Horseman arriving on Earth, this time riding color-coded motorbikes instead of their traditional steeds. And with the forces of Heaven and Hell both searching for the Antichrist, the duo will have to stay one step ahead of their former bosses.

The miniseries is an adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's 1990 fantasy novel of the same with Gaiman also serving as screenwriter, executive producer and showrunner for the adaptation. The miniseries is expected to run for six episodes with the entirety of the adaptation debuting at the end of May through Amazon.

Premiering May 31 on Amazon, Good Omens stars David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Jon Hamm, Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Miranda Richardson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Frances McDormand and Brian Cox.
