The entire Marvel Cinematic Universe needed the likes of the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and Doctor Strange to unite and stop Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but in a fun fan mashup it seems Florida and the '80s also had some recruits available in the form of The Golden Girls.

The trailer, done by the Stay Golden fan channel, merges various famous clips from the beloved sitcom, but it also adds in the vocals of several superheroes, and even the Mad Titan himself, from a slew of trailers used to promote the Russo brothers' record-breaking movie. The music and sound effects are also creatively set to comedic scenes, even including the NBC logo, which takes shape much like Marvel's signature title card.

Thanos' "in time, you learn what it's like to lose" is cleverly paired with Rose (Betty White) snatching her teddy bear from a young brat. We also see Sophia (Estelle Getty) with a shovel while Black Panther speaks about evacuating Wakanda. Dorothy (Bea Arthur) and Sophia engage in knife-play when the Mad Titan talks about "balancing the universe." These sequences all add that MCU flavor to the clip, which clocks in at just over two and a half minutes.

The Golden Girls is an American sitcom created by Susan Harris, originally airing on NBC from 1985 to 1992. The series starred Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty as four women sharing a home in Miami while engaging in seven seasons of over-the-top antics.
