Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero spoilers have hit social media.

WARNING: SUBSTANTIAL SPOILERS FOR DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO FOLLOW:

Twitter account @DBSChronicles, which has been known to be a reliable source for Dragon Ball leaks and spoilers in the past, has revealed one of the biggest twists of the series' latest movie. According to them, during the final battle of the new movie, in which Gohan, Piccolo, Goten and Trunks fight against an as-yet unrevealed "ultimate evil," Gohan awakens a new form, which has been dubbed "Final Gohan." The new form resembles Gohan's standard Super Saiyan form, but his hair now turns into a pure white, while his eyes are changed to a deep red color. While @DBSChronicles did not provide an official image of this reported new form, they did create a mock-up of how it looks based off of another image of Gohan from the movie. According to their report, Gohan achieves the new form after being enraged by the movie's final antagonist, and no explanations are given during the film about what the new form is, how it works, or how much it boosts the young scholar's power level.

Spoilers for the movie began appearing online within hours of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero's premiere in Japan on June 11. Following @DBSChronicles' reveal, several terms related to the spoiler began trending worldwide on Twitter, potentially revealing the twist for fans, even the ones who did not click on the links or follow the leaker's account.

Set sometime after the events of both Dragon Ball Super: Broly and the manga's Moro arc, Super Hero sees Gohan and Piccolo teaming up once again to take on Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, a new pair of powerful android warriors created by the Red Ribbon Army. As suggested by the leak, the film will also see the duo take on a third opponent in its finale, with still unconfirmed rumors suggesting that it is none other than a new version of Cell, the genetically-engineered warrior that a teenaged Gohan originally defeated in Dragon Ball Z.
