Warner Bros. has bumped the release date for Godzilla vs. Kong by one week, with the monster mash now debuting in theaters and on HBO Max March 31.

According to Variety, the change to Godzilla vs. Kong's release date was made in response to MGM shifting the James Bond film No Time to Die date from April 2 to Oct. 8. Godzilla vs. Kong was originally scheduled to premiere on May 21. However, that was changed to bring it to fans earlier on March 26. The film's North America debut is still set for March 26. WB and Legendary released a new trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong this past weekend, which teased the titans' shared history and the epic battles that will take place once Godzilla and King Kong collide.

Legends collide as Godzilla and Kong, the two most powerful forces of nature, clash on the big screen in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into fantastic uncharted terrain, unearthing clues to the Titans’ very origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

Directed by Adam Wingard and written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein, Godzilla vs. Kong stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry. The film arrives in theaters and on HBO Max March 31.
