Godzilla vs. Kong will be hitting theaters earlier than expected in 2020.

The fourth chapter in Warner Bros./Legendary's MonsterVerse, which began with 2014's Godzilla, has been bumped up from May 22, 2020 to March 13, 2020. Although it's currently unconfirmed, this move may have been to avoid competition with Fast and Furious 9, which is now releasing on the former date.
