Legendary has unveiled its slate of Godzilla vs. Kong tie-in material, which includes graphic novels and an art book for the film.

A pair of prequel graphic novels, Godzilla Dominion and Kingdom Kong, will be released on March 30th from Legendary Comics. Written by Greg Keyes and illustrated by Drew Edward Johnson, Dominion takes place after Godzilla: King of the Monsters and is told entirely through Godzilla's point of view. Kingdom is written by Marie Anello and illustrated by ZID, and features Kong battling the Titan Camazotz, who attacks a group of pilots that traveled to Skull Island. Both comics are currently available for pre-order.

Keyes will also write the official novelization for Godzilla vs. Kong, which is currently available for pre-order and goes on sale on April 6, 2021. Legendary Comics also plans to release Volume 1 of the Monsterverse Titanthology, which combines previously released graphic novels Skull Island: The Birth of Kong (2017) and Godzilla: Aftershock (2019) into one volume. The Monsterverse Titanthology goes on sale on May 11, 2021.

Rounding out the book offerings are Godzilla vs. Kong: Sometimes Friends Fight (But They Always Make Up), a board book from Insight Editions, and Legendary's first children's book Kong & Me. Insight will also released Godzilla vs. Kong: One Will Fall, The Art of the Ultimate Battle Royale. Written by Daniel Wallace and featuring a special foreword by director Adam Wingard, the book delves deep into the making of the film and features concept art and set photos. It is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale on May 21, 2021.

"As with previous installments in the Monsterverse franchise, Legendary Comics is excited to expand the story universe by paving the way for the cinematic clash with two prequel graphic novels that will tell separate tales of our favorite Titans," Senior Vice President of Legendary Comics Robert Napton said in a statement. "We are also expanding our publishing offerings with our first-ever children’s book and board book, and are thrilled to be working again with Insight Editions and Titan Books on an art book and novelization that will offer exclusive content, taking readers deeper into the world of Godzilla and Kong."

Directed by Adam Wingard and written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein, Godzilla vs. Kong stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry. The film arrives in theaters and on HBO Max March 31.
