Godzilla vs. Kong will feature a wealth of Titans beyond its titular combatants -- and one of those Titans looks to be a human-made invention.

Collider and several other outlets were invited to visit the set of Godzilla vs. Kong, where the gigantic skull of King Ghidorah has several wires and mechanized elements inside of its structure. The press were also treated to a scene where Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown), alongside Josh (Julian Dennison) and Bernie (Brian Tyree Henry), investigate the mysterious Apex organization's connection to Ghidorah.

The most disturbing element of the scene comes from Shun Oguri's character, who thanks a pilot for his service in an eerily calm tone. This scene, alongside the mechanized Ghidorah head, falls in line with the ongoing fan theory that Mechagodzilla will make his MonsterVerse debut in Godzilla vs. Kong.

King Ghidorah served as the main antagonist in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, ultimately being destroyed by Godzilla. However, in a post-credits scene, Alan Jorah (Charles Dance) and his crew came into the possession of one of Ghidorah's heads -- which led to the work that Apex is doing. Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard teased that Ghidorah "kind of haunts this movie," and it looks like he may have been speaking in a literal sense.

Directed by Adam Wingard and written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein, Godzilla vs. Kong stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry. The film arrives in theaters and on HBO Max March 31.
