A new collection of artwork commemorating the IMAX release of Godzilla vs. Kong in China was shared with fans, featuring the kaiju in a variety of city-wrecking poses.
Shared on Kaiju News Outlet's Twitter, the art consisted of eight new images of the combative kaiju in the upcoming film. The artwork is inspired by images released from the movie, with some highlighting the pink and blue color scheme used in prior promotional images.
The new poster collection appears to have been created by a few different artists and follows the recent release of the IMAX exclusive poster released in the United States. That poster featured a similar neon pink and blue color scheme and depicted the two Titans roaring at each other as helicopters hover in the distance.
Previous international posters have also teased the underwater battle between Godzilla and Kong that appears in the film, which allegedly lasts for 18 minutes.
The Chinese IMAX posters were released days after a new teaser for the film premiered online. The newest trailer shows Kong kicking Godzilla in the face in the midst of their underwater battle. Additional footage shows Godzilla emerging from the water, and being met with a punch in the face. Footage from another fight scene shows the duo facing-off in a neon-lit city.
In other Godzilla vs. Kong-related news, online gambling company BetOnline used tagged Twitter data to determine which Titan the majority of people living in the United States want to win in the kaiju battle. By tracking the use of the #TeamGodzilla or #TeamKong hashtags, the company announced Godzilla as the chosen winner in the U.S. by 41 states.
