The titans reign supreme in the latest promo for director Michael Dougherty's Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The footage depicts Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah fighting for supremacy of the Earth, as humanity is left to watch.

While much of the minute-long preview feels in line with what's been shown previously, right down to the dramatic rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," it offers fans a new little perspective. For one, it names all of the monsters; for another, it shows that humanity's only chance of surviving the onslaught is through Godzilla.

We're treated to some new footage of the monsters going at it, as well, with Godzilla cast in a more benevolent light.

The teaser establishes both the sheer power and majesty of these monsters, as well as how vulnerable humanity is in its face. As the promo acknowledges, "This is Godzilla's world. We just live in it."

Directed by Michael Dougherty, Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, and Zhang Ziyi. The film opens May 31.
