Little is known about Legendary's third film in its MonsterVerse cinematic universe, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but a new casting detail has been revealed today – it’s one that might get The Walking Dead fans thinking about something other than the upcoming season eight premiere. Elizabeth Ludlow has joined the cast of Godzilla 2, though the exact nature of her role is still under wraps.

The sequel to Gareth Edwards’ 2014 Godzilla has quite the expansive cast at this point, from returning actors like Ken Watanabe to newcomers like Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown. Ludlow is likely best known for her role as Arat in The Walking Dead’s seventh season, a close confidant to Negan, leader of the antagonistic group of zombie apocalypse survivors named the Saviors. She also played Up Rush in the Powers television series.
