Godzilla: King of the Monsters isn't just the title of the latest movie in Warner Bros. MonsterVerse -- it's an accurate description of the film.
At Comic-Con International in San Diego, the studio unleashed a new trailer for the highly-anticipated kaiju film, giving fans glimpses of many surprise classic Toho creatures that will share the screen with Godzilla.

In fact, during the panel presentation of the film, director Michael Dougherty confirmed that fans would see even more famous monsters than they are currently aware. "We've got the crown jewels of the Toho Monster kingdom in this movie. Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, King Ghidorah, and a few more surprises along the way," he said to the audience.
The hard-hitting trailer, which only gives fans a taste of the destruction that lies ahead, already offers glimpses of the monsters the director mentioned during the presentation. However, his hints at more surprises definitely makes us wonder what other creatures are in the sequel, and just how many exactly there will be.
On top of all of that, all of this is also meant to build up to the highly-anticipated crossover film, Godzilla vs. Kong.
