In the wake of the Crisis, Season 6 of The Flash has seen Barry Allen's speed steadily diminish, even as the Scarlet Speedster needs it more than he ever as he's poised to confront Godspeed.
The CW has released a promo for Season 6's penultimate episode, titled "Pay the Piper," which sees Godspeed menacing Central City as Barry prepares to use the last of his speed to stop the supersonic villain.
The previously released official synopsis for the episode revealed that Barry would turn to his old friend Pied Piper for assistance, only to discover that the reality-altering events of the Crisis had caused Piper to revert to his antagonistic ways. With allies turned enemies and his powers failing him, Barry has found himself both outnumbered and outgunned.
Production on Season 6 came to premature end last month due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As a result, the season will end with its 19th episode next week, with elements of the three episodes planned to conclude Season 6 expected to be incorporated into Season 7.
