While a lot of criticism has been directed at "Gods of Egypt," it's unlikely anyone has ever accused Alex Proyas' CG-heavy fantasy of having boring trailers. On the contrary, as the new U.K. trailer demonstrates, there's possibly too much going on in them.

The film centers on an unexpected mortal hero (Brenton Thwaites) who must enlist the help of the god Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) to save the world and rescue his true love. They must form an unlikely alliance against Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, who has usurped Egypt’s throne, plunging the once-peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict.

Opening Feb. 26, “Gods of Egypt” also stars Chadwick Boseman, Geoffrey Rush, Rufus Sewell, Abbey Lee, Courtney Eaton and Elodie Yung.
