God of War Art Director Raf Grassetti is giving Street Fighter fans something to talk about with his rendition of M. Bison.

"This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time so I decided to take a stab at it," Grassetti wrote on Instagram. "Street Fighter is something that is close to most of our hearts, including mine. You know Sagat and my boy Blanka are coming soon." Creating the image appears to have been a personal passion project for Grassetti, and he promised more were on the way.

The piece features the iconic megalomaniac in his red military uniform. Bison's eyes are hidden by his familiar service cap, which bears the winged skull insignia of his notorious crime syndicate, Shadaloo, and the same symbol adorns the armor protecting his right arm. Meanwhile, there's a slight, unnerving smile across his face.

Grassetti has also made good on his promise of delivering more, as he has since added pictures of Vega and Sagat. However, there's still no sign of Blanka yet.

Grassetti says he created these images using ZBrush, a digital sculpting tool, and Photoshop. While these appear to be personal projects he undertook and they highlight his unique style, the results are pieces that could quite easily be Street Fighter concept art.

In addition to his work as art director on the God of War series, Grassetti previously worked as a senior character artist on franchises like Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
