Netflix finally announced when fans can get their next fix of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. GLOW returns to the streaming giant for its third season on August 9.

The Netflix original series follows the lives of the ladies who wrestled in the all women's wrestling promotion that rose up in the '80s, during the same period that the Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling world of the WWF hit its peak.

TVLine reports the third season will take the women of GLOW and put them into a Las Vegas residency, where they try to keep their heads above water without the security of a television deal.

The first season of GLOW traced their beginnings, as the company grew and developed into a national television series with over-the-top female wrestlers turning in shows that alternated between absurd and emotional. The second season ended with that television show canceled and the company facing an unsure future.

The Season 3 synopsis reads:

Now headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, the women quickly realize Sin City is much more grind than glitter. Ever the team cheerleader, Ruth’s passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her growingly complicated personal life. Debbie is making headway as a producer, but continues to be consumed with guilt over the distance between her and her son. As their residency wears on, the lines blur between performance and reality, and the cast find themselves struggling with their own identities both in and outside of the ring.

The series' creators both promised that GLOW Season 3 would explore Las Vegas in the '80s. Liz Flahive said that “exploring Vegas fully is our plan” while Carly Mensch said that it was a challenge to recreate the Vegas Strip of that era.
