Netflix has officially renewed the female wrestling dramedy GLOW for a third season.

The first season of the series has been nominated for a whopping 10 Emmys. Starring Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and Marc Maron, the series centers around the actresses in a women’s wrestling league during the 1980s. The series is partly based off the real Glamorous Ladies of Wrestling league, although it has taken a number of deviations with the plot and characters.

The series has a strong bench of actresses, but the series mostly revolves around the splintered friendship of the two leading ladies of the show, Ruth (Brie) and Debbie (Gilpin). Best friends until Ruth slept with Debbie's husband, their relationship has spurred on most of the series as they build the women's wrestling league from the ground up alongside their shifty but lovable manager, Sam (Maron). The second season ended with a major shift in the series, as the in-universe wrestling show has been cancelled. The final scene of the season saw the group relocating to Las Vegas in an attempt to keep the wrestling group around.

GLOW Season 1 one and Season 2 are currently on Netflix.
