After a successful launch of Garden Gnomes based off "Star Trek: The Original Series," ThinkGeek.com sets phasers (and beards) to stunning with the release of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" gnomes.

In "Song of Myself," a quintessential poem included in "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman, the author decrees "I believe a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars." Similarly, Gene Roddenberry, the creator of the "Star Trek" franchise once said "everything has not been invented; the human adventure is just beginning.” If you combine Whitman's appreciation of nature with Roddenberry sense of space adventure, you'd realize your lawn needs a sci-fi makeover with Star Trek Garden Gnomes.

The durable decorations are made from a cast polyresin, and will spruce up any yard or planter. Weighing approximately one pound and standing between eight and ten inches tall, the gnomes make a wonderfully nerdy addition to any Star Trek fan's desk or work space. Five different characters have been created, including Picard, Riker, Data, Worf and a not-so-friendly Borg that will remind any pesky critters that attack your lawn that "resistance is futile."

If you only roll with old-school Trek, ThinkGeek has you covered as well. Four gnomes are available from TOS, including Kirk, Spock, Kirk, Gorn and a Redshirt. Be the first on your block to boldly go where your neighbors won't, and beam these onto your lawn.
