Four years after premiering on Netflix, the revival miniseries Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is now available to stream on The CW app after airing on the network the week of Thanksgiving. To herald the miniseries' arrival on the digital platform, The CW has released a clip from its inaugural episode featuring a fan-favorite reunion.

The clip sees Rory Gilmore attempting to find a spot in the local grocery store to receive decent cell phone reception before she is greeted by her best friend Lane Kim while handing shoppers heads of cabbage.

Lane reveals that her husband Zach has since become a committed office worker, a far cry from the couple's roots as a garage rock band, with Lane admitting that her husband has begun to resemble his father more and more.

A Year in the Life continues the story of Gilmore Girls nine years after the series finale aired on The CW. While series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino noted there are plenty of stories to explore continuing the characters' lives, conflicting schedules for the cast and crew have prevented another revival series from taking place.

Written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life stars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Melissa McCarthy, Matt Czuchry, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Jared Padalecki and Milo Ventimiglia. The revival series is able to stream on Netflix and The CW app.
