Gillian Anderson Teases 'X-Files' Mysteries in New Promo

While "Don't blink" may be a reference to "Doctor Who," it can certainly be applied to this new 20-second promo for "The X-Files" that you'll have to examine frame by frame.

Called "Show & Not Tell," the spot features star Gillian Anderson, who admits she "can't tell you much about anything, really," regarding the upcoming Fox revival. However, what she can do is flash a series of rapid-fire images on the screen. If you look closely (and quickly), among others you'll be able to identify a crashed UFO, an alien corpse, a newborn baby (human, alien or hybrid?), and a smartphone that shows "William" is calling.

Gillian is joined in the six-episode miniseries by fellow "X-Files" veterans David Duchovny, Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, Annabeth Gish, Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood and Dean Haglund, as well as newcomers like Joel McHale, Kumail Nanjiani and Robbie Amell.

"The X-Files" premieres Jan. 24 on Fox.
