Writer Jonathan Hickman (House of XPowers of X) is teaming with artist Russell Dauterman and colorist Matt Wilson (Mighty ThorThor) for a new X-Men ongoing series beginning in February.

Giant-Size X-Men: Jean Grey and Emma Frost #1 pairs up two of the X-Men's top telepaths -- and former rivals -- to rescue their teammate Storm. The return of Giant-Size X-Men will pair Hickman with a different superstar artist to craft a tale focusing on specific members of the X-Men.

"I’ve wanted to draw X-Men comics since I was a kid, so drawing this issue of X-Men is a dream come true,” Dauterman said in a press release. “I’m so thrilled to be working on this with Jonathan and Matt, and it’s co-starring my favorite character, Jean Grey!"

Len Wein and David Cockrum debuted Giant-Size X-Men in 1975, with the special issue ushering in the likes of Nightcrawler and Storm. Jean Grey and Emma Frost take center stage in the first issue of the relaunch, with future issues spotlighting different X-Men while Hickman pairs with the industry’s top artists.

Giant-Size X-Men: Jean Grey and Emma Frost #1 by Jonathan Hickman, Russell Dauterman and Matt Wilson goes on sale in February from Marvel Comics.
