Marvel Comics has officially revealed a first look at the inaugural issue of Dawn of X architect Jonathan Hickman's upcoming line of Giant-Size X-Men one-shots -- which features the telepathic duo of Jean Grey and Emma Frost.

Marvel's new Giant-Size X-Men series launches with the purpose of showcasing some of the publisher's top artists. Giant-Size X-Men: Jean Grey & Emma Frost unites the creative team of writer Hickman and artist Russell Dauterman (Mighty Thor, War of the Realms). The issue sees the two power telepaths join forces in an effort to save fellow iconic mutant storm from danger.

"The X-Men have been a nearly lifelong love of mine," Dauterman said. "They're the reason I started reading comics and a big part of why I wanted to be a comic book artist. So drawing this book is a dream come true. I'm so thrilled to be working on this with Jonathan and Matt. I'm a huge fan of how Jonathan and his collaborators have revitalized the X-Men. I'm very happy to be involved."

The preview pages released by Marvel offer X-Men fans their first glimpse at Dauterman's interior art from the upcoming issue. Though uncolored and unlettered, these pages provide offer a group shot of Jean Grey and Emma Frost alongside the likes of Storm, Wolverine and Cyclops. The also tease the trials and tribulations of the two telepaths' journey, as they evidently have a literal storm to contend with.

Giant-Size X-Men: Jean Grey & Emma Frost is but the first release in Marvel's revitalized Giant-Size X-Men line. The House of Ideas has also previously announced March's Giant-Size X-Men: Magneto from the creative team of Hickman and Ben Oliver, as well as April's Giant-Size X-Men: Nightcrawler -- which teams Hickman with Alan Davis.

Written by Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by Russell Dauterman with colors Matt Wilson, Giant-Size X-Men: Jean Grey & Emma Frost #1 goes on sale Feb. 26 from Marvel Comics. Dauterman's cover can be found below along with three preview pages.
