Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) is joining the cast of Disney's reboot of DuckTales as the classic Mickey Mouse villain, Phantom Blot.
Esposito appears in the Sept. 21 episode titled "The Phantom and the Sorceress!" The episode description, along with the first look at the reimagined Phantom Blot, can be found below.

Created by Floyd Gottfredson, the Phantom Blot debuted in the 1939 Mickey Mouse comic strip story, Mickey Mouse Outwits the Phantom Blot. The character would go on to headline a seven-issue miniseries. Phantom Blot also appeared in the original DuckTales animated series in the Season 1 episode, ""All Ducks on Deck."
DuckTales will return with all new episodes on Sept. 21 on Disney XD. Both seasons of Darkwing Duck are currently streaming on Disney+.
