Ghostbusters fans can now enjoy the sweet taste of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man with an edible version of the lovable ghost from the film.
Made from real marshmallows and covered with granulated sugar, the snack (or meal, if you prefer), is available for $12.99. Sadly, it's not life-sized, but its the perfect treat to bring to the theaters this summer when Ghostbusters: Afterlife opens on July 10.
The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man made its debut in the original Ghostbusters and is the mascot of the fictional Stay Puft Marshmallow Corporation. Aside from appearing in the first film in the franchise, Stay Puft can also be seen in the animated series The Real Ghostbusters, as well as Ghostbusters comic books, stage shows and video games. The monster even has its own Funko Pop! figurine.
The ghost was conceptualized by Dan Aykroyd when he was writing the script for the movie, but the characters appearance was inspired by Peter O'Boyle, a security guard at Columbia Pictures.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is directed by Jason Reitman, who also co-wrote the film with Gil Kenan. Starring Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd and Mckenna Grace, the film arrives in theaters July 10.
