Bill Murray's first reaction to seeing the mini Stay-Puft marshmallow monsters that appear in Ghostbusters: Afterlife was recorded to share with fans of the ghost hunting franchise.

Posted on Ghostbusters' YouTube channel, the short clip shows original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman playing a scene from the new film for Murray over a Zoom call.

The scene in question shows miniature versions of Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man emerging from a sealed bag on a grocery store shelf and biting Paul Rudd's finger. The mini Stay-Pufts proceed to wreak havoc on the store, which includes a group of mini Stay-Puft starting a barbecue fire and stabbing each other with skewers to make s'mores.

After several seconds of laughing, Murray tells Reitman, "That's funny. I've never seen any of that. That looks good. That's got the feel, doesn't it? Doesn't it?" Reitman is quick to agree that the Mini-Pufts' battle makes perfect sense in the Ghostbusters' universe.

Murray's reaction clip was posted days after Hasbro announced a new Mini-Pufts Surprise collectible figure inspired by the upcoming film. The 1.5-inch figures are being released as blind-packed collectibles -- meaning collectors must open the Stay-Puft Marshmallow and dig into a slimy, marshmallow-like compound to see which Mini-Puft figure is inside.

Previously, Murray revealed that the upcoming Ghostbusters film is more like the original than any prior film in the franchise, noting, "[It's a Ghostbusters movie that really brings it back to life. It really has the feel of the first one, more than the second one or the girls' one. It has a different feel than two out of four."

The official synopsis for Ghostbusters: Afterlife reads,
