As Ghostbusters 2020 moves deeper into post-production, the eagerly anticipated sequel reportedly has a new, final theatrical title ahead of the release of its first full trailer.

A new report claims that the revival film will be titled Ghostbusters: Afterlife. However, this report has yet to be officially commented on or confirmed by Sony or any of the filmmakers involved.

Director and co-writer Jason Reitman announced that principal photography on the film officially wrapped in October, with filming having started in Calgary in July.

Details on the upcoming film remain under wraps, but it's expected to be a sequel to the original two films, with much of the original cast reprising their classic roles in an unknown capacity. The movie will focus on a young girl, brother and single mother as they explore the legacy of the Ghostbusters decades after the events of 1989's Ghostbusters II, with supernatural hijinks sure to follow.
