The first trailer for Sony's upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife finally has a date.

According to Vanity Fair, the trailer will debut on Monday, Dec. 9, providing fans with their first look at the film since the promo teaser that was released over the summer. The announcement comes after the British Board of Film Classification rated the trailer earlier this week, with the trailer's runtime listed as two minutes and 28 seconds.

The revival film will take place in the same continuity as the classic 1984 original movie, with a family moving out to a small town in Oklahoma after inheriting property from a family member they never knew. As the family settles into their new home, they discover its surprising connection to the Ghostbusters' legacy. The film will also feature appearances from a number of franchise veterans, including several of the original Ghostbusters team members.

Principal photography on the film wrapped in October, with Calgary standing in as the movie's Midwestern setting.
