With filming on the live-action adaptation of "Ghost in the Shell" now underway, set photos from the production have found their way online. The manga adaptation is currently filming in Hong Kong, where lead actors Scarlett Johansson and Pilou AsbÃ¦k -- who play Major and Batou -- were spotted in the film's marketplace set.

Based on the manga title of the same name, "Ghost in the Shell" follows the cyborg Kusanagi, who is part of an elite cybercrime-fighting task force referred to as Section 9. Directed by Rupert Sanders "Ghost in the Shell" also stars Beat Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche, Michael Pitt, Kaori Momoi, Rila Fukushima, Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara and Tuwanda Manyimo. The live-action adaptation is set for a March 31, 2017 release date.
